Conformance Status

Brevity partially conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Partially conforms means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Scope

This statement covers the Brevity website at downloadbrevity.com, our blog at blog.downloadbrevity.com, the interactive lesson demo at share.downloadbrevity.com, and the Brevity iOS app.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following barriers and are working to address them:

• Lesson cards are navigated by swiping. A screen-reader equivalent is available but the reading order is not yet ideal on every card.
• Some lesson illustrations do not yet have descriptive text alternatives.
• The weekly progress chart is presented visually and does not yet have a text equivalent.
• Some secondary text in our monochrome palette does not yet meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
• Certain screen transitions and the opening animation still play when Reduce Motion is enabled.

Compatibility

The iOS app supports VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion. The website is designed to work with current versions of Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, together with the assistive technology available on those platforms.

Technical Specifications

The website relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The iOS app is built with React Native and uses the native iOS accessibility APIs.
