policy applies to the Brevity website (downloadbrevity.com) and the
Brevity mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the
Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. We comply
with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy
Principles (APPs), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the

7. International Data Transfers
Brevity Enterprises is based in Australia. Our service providers —
including Clerk, RevenueCat, Beehiiv, Google, Meta, PostHog, and
Cloudflare — store and process data on servers located in the United
States and potentially other countries. By using the Service, you
acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in
countries outside your own, including countries whose data protection
laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. For transfers of EU and
UK personal data to the United States, we rely on Standard Contractual
Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. For transfers from
Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle
your data consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and
as necessary to provide the Service.

within 30 days

Legal retention — certain data may be retained
beyond 30 days where required by law, for example Apple transaction
records retained by Apple under their own policies

Waitlist data — email addresses collected via our
waitlist are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion

Crash logs and analytics — aggregate and anonymised
data that cannot identify you individually may be retained
indefinitely for product improvement purposes
9. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications during onboarding or in your device
settings, we may send you:

You can disable push notifications at any time through your iOS Settings
under Notifications → Brevity, or within the app under Profile →
Settings → Notifications. Disabling notifications does not affect your
account or subscription.
10. Children's Privacy and Age Requirements
Brevity is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly
collect personal information from anyone under 18, and the Service is
not directed to children. If we become aware that we have collected
personal information from someone under 18, we will promptly delete
